What: Subaquatic (cindypepper! edition III)

Why: For the new design of cindypepper!, I wanted to do something more elegant and graceful, but I still wanted to keep the same whimsical and illustrative qualities that defined my previous designs. I was inspired by Alexander McQueen’s S/S 2010 collection, especially the prints and the use of a muted palette paired with brighter colors. I scanned one of my sketches, colored it in Photoshop, and layered it atop a marble texture that I had modified. To tie in the layout together, I used several hand-drawn graphics of mine, including the sidebar images and the social media buttons.
