the art

the girl. the site. the art.

I’ve been drawing for a Very Long Time. I think and learn spatially, and that translates to my art. I learned HTML when I was twelve, because I wanted to make my Neopets profile and petpages look super awesome, replete with marquees and questionable font choices. By the time I was fourteen, I got Photoshop and created my first personal site. With my newfound design “skills”, I started incorporating more of my artwork into my webdesigns. I got into vector art, which then developed into an interest in digital illustration.

Adobe CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is my medium of choice. I draw with a Wacom Intuous3 tablet, though sometimes I’ll bust out my six-year-old Graphire. Most of my work can be found here. I use a Nikon D50 to take my photos. Admittedly, the camera’s a bit outdated, but hey, it’s served me well.
